The Chateau Lafayette Nile Cruise underwent a complete renovation in November 2019, transforming it into a 5-star Nile Cruise equipped with all the facilities to ensure guest satisfaction. The Chateau Lafayette provides a wide array of amenities, including a main restaurant that serves buffet food, a bar and a lounge equipped with air conditioning and a dance floor, a large sun deck featuring a bar and swimming pool for relaxation, and an air-conditioned massage room for pampering. Guests can also explore the boutique, beauty, and gift shop, use the laundry service, stay fit with the available fitness equipment, and enjoy evening entertainment. While docked, the cruise offers internet and fax facilities, although availability may be intermittent and charges may apply. All cabins come with a French Juliet balcony, air conditioning, a fridge, a phone, and a bathroom with a bath and over-bath shower. Additional in-room comforts include a hairdryer, a safe, and satellite TV.

Tour Plan
Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ON
Upon arriving in Aswan, our English-speaking representative will meet guests and provide a transfer by private air-conditioned van to the cruise ship, with check-in scheduled before 12:00 PM. Following lunch onboard, the first day's tour includes visits to The High Dam, a motorboat sail to the Temple of Philae dedicated to goddess Isis, and a visit to The Unfinished Obelisk dedicated to god Amun Ra. Guests will have free time to explore Aswan at their leisure in the evening.
Day 2: Kom Ombo - Edfu & ON
The second day starts with breakfast on board, followed by a visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek & Haroeris. After enjoying lunch on the sun deck, guests will take a chariot ride to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of Egypt’s most well-preserved temples. The day concludes with dinner on board and an Egyptian Folkloric Show performed by the staff.
Day 3: Luxor West Bank - Luxor ON
On the third day, after breakfast, guests embark on a tour of Luxor’s West Bank, visiting the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch follows back on the ship, with the afternoon and evening free for leisure, culminating in an overnight stay on the cruise.
Day 4: Check Out - Luxor East Bank
The fourth day entails breakfast and checkout, after which guests will discover the East Bank of Luxor, including the Karnak Temples Complex and the Temple of Luxor. A private air-conditioned van will then transfer guests to their chosen location in Luxor, marking the end of the cruise services.
Day 5: Disembarkation from cruise - Departure to Cairo
On the fifth day, after breakfast, guests check out and are accompanied to the Aswan airport or station for their flight to Cairo. An optional tour to the Abu Simbel temples, either by private coach or domestic flight, is available. This tour, guided by an English-speaking tour guide, includes visits to the Great Temple dedicated to the god Rahorakhty and the smaller temple dedicated to king Ramesses II and his queen Nefertari, showcasing the grandeur of Ramses II’s architectural accomplishments.
